Brief Description
Being a kids talk presenter involves:
Preparing before the service, by praying, and identifying the main aim of the lesson
Preparing by identifying difficult or complex concepts, and working out whether to avoid them or explain them.
Preparing teaching aids using audio or visual devices (stories, slides, pictures, songs, craft, apps, videos, even puppets)
Being ready and able to take control.
Speaking clearly, with simple words and varied pitch, so as to engage children.
Patience! With small children, we often find both over- and under-enthusiasm.
Finding one main point to teach; specifically, a gospel focus for every talk.
